Whispers of yesteryear in hues of antiquity and charm.

In a world overfilled with short-lived, noisy images bombarding us, we find calm in things aged and timeless, from an era when artists created striking images and graphics to attract and captivate those who glanced upon them. Those same original posters are all the more beguiling, having survived until today, as their joyous designs and bold colours represent past eras that contrast and stand out from the modern. I bought my first vintage poster only because of the product it promoted, not appreciating the fascination it would evoke until it hung on my wall and I would gaze and wonder with joy about those times past.

Our interest is in curating posters depicting Africa and promoting their enchanting beauty whilst treasuring and preserving these images of the past. Whilst some depictions represent romanticised colonial views, they are no less beautiful and bear witness to that history.
