Afrique Occidentale Française by Craste, 1951

Original 1950 vintage travel map of French West Africa published by the French Ministry of Overseas. This large, colourful and vibrant map was produced to promote tourism in the area which covered the previous French colonies of Senegal, Ivory Coast, Mauritania, Sudan, Guinea, Upper Volta, Dahomey and Nigeria. Nigeria, Gold Coast, Sierra Leone and Liberia are also depicted with a range of illustrations adding interest.
