Authentic vintage "Le Sénégal" tourism lithograph (or serigraph) poster, published in 1965 in Dakar, Senegal.  The composition bridges mid-century modernist style with traditional Senegalese iconography by utilizing a striking split-field design: the left side showcases a woman in traditional Senegalese dress and geometric jewellery against an intricate web of golden branches, while the right side transitions into a minimalist white and orange silhouette holding aloft a ceremonial calabash or drum.  Finished with a bold, block-typography title reading "LE SÉNÉGAL" across the bottom, this poster makes an undeniable statement for enthusiasts of African history, vintage travel, and Mid-Century Modern interior design.
